We've
made several trips to Argentina and a couple to Chile. Argentina is a
fantastic, diverse country with hot, steamy jungles in the north, ice
and glaciers in the south, pampas in the center, and Patagonia, where
you can experience all the seasons in one day.

Buenos Aires |
Iguazu Falls, in the far northeastern corner of Argentina, is where the movie The Mission was filmed. In the hot, steamy jungle,
we spent one of our most memorable Christmases ever at Iguazu.

Iguazu Falls. Spectacular. Longest series of falls in the world; stretches over 3 countries |

Perito Moreno Glacier |
|
Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. |
And the stark beauty of Patagonia, with the Andes in the background, pampas and estancias, and a few towns that look like
they should be in Switzerland.

. . . Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay. The best falls are in Argentina; best view is in Brazil. |
From the hot, humid jungle at the top to ice, snow, and spectacular glaciers in the far south.
